«Sounds Like An Interesting Conference». Mexico City Conference and the International Women's Movement (Silvia Salvatici)
The author analyzes the international women's conference that took place in Mexico City in 1975. During this conference, women's rights were subordinated to the tensions and the ideological conflicts that exploded between the states participating in this event. According to the author, these tensions, which were a produced of the Seventies, mode the women's movements able to build an international network which flourished in the following years.
